La Ceiba, Honduras Abril 4, 2008
Hello my name is Maribel
I am of Sico, Colon is an area where we practice mainly agriculture. It is a small town far from the city. I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters and they are small, I am the oldest daughter in my family. My mama lives in Sico and my papa died five years ago. Since my papa died things have not been very easy for the family, I could not continue studying there. So we ask God to help me out of the problem, so it's like God send me to this place I am that God has a purpose for me.
Since I was six years old I liked to draw pictures that were what I liked to do more, when I was in fourth grade two teachers came to my school to teach drawing and painting for all children. Then I learned many things.
Last year end my career of Accounting and I desire to continue studying this year, I am 19 years old now and my plans is to become a teacher of Art to go to teach children who like to draw also. But in La Ceiba we don’t have that kind of school; only in Tegucigalpa and someone told me that there was very expensive so I was unable to go to that school of art.
In my free time I take English classes because I want to learn English because it is important, also I want to learn how to play guitar is something that I would like to do much music and singing. May God bless you. Cordial greetings, Sincerely,
Maribel Mejia Guevarra

Sponsorships cost $150/month.
Mareibel as of now has two folks who are sponsoring her and are looking for a third to split so the monthly sponsorship would then be $50/person/month.
If you want to participate in this, please let Sandy or myself know; Tom Camp: llamacamp@hughes.net
