Over the past 2 - 3 years we have began to "integrate" various teams with the work of AHMEN. In one sense we have done this from the "get go" with the work of AHMEN, Cruzado, and Carolina Honduras. So, its just an extension of the same process. AHMEN has always been interdenominational. Lately we have developed relationships with BIRTHING Project, PINCC, CHIMES, the Cuban medical community, and the Honduran medical community. While we all may not have the same exact agenda, we certainly all are interested in the health/welfare of the Honduran people. As my friend Dr. Tom Arnold says: "We all have our reasons and opinions, but those don't matter much when your child needs medical care in a place where there isn't any to be gotten at all with the money you don't have. WWJD?" With this in mind, I refer you to a recent article on a web page: upsidedownworld.org/main/content/view/367/46/ One story I like re. the meshing of ideas. On the trip with the Cuban reporters, the three reporters asked or "eye glass group" if we would check their vision. After receiving his glasses and a copy of the New Testament, he spend a considerable part of the rest of the week checking out his new glasses and reading the New testament. Have a great day, Vaya con Dios, Tom Camp --
