employeesortant notice is for anyone wanting to send down anything on the Christmas Container '06.
contact Jane Cox, Lou Altman, Lexie Hilton, or Larry Pitts for more information. Jane Cox: Cruzada (Sandy) has requested that paperwork on containers be sent to her three weeks prior to container shipment. Hence, the paperwork for the Fall Container leaving November 18 is due October 28. To facilitate Sandy’s request everything to be shipped, along with the manifest and all other paperwork, should be brought to the warehouse in Arly at 9:00am Saturday October 28. Ellis Waid donates his and his employees’s time. Christmas items can include used toys, if clean and workable, as well as used clothing, provided it is unstained and in good repair.
All items must be sealed in boxes which are in good shape, color coded, and well labeled. Wood pallets and items made of wood can be shipped; however, construction wood cannot. A detailed list of medicines is not required for the manifest. The Spring 2007 Container will probably go out in late March. If a team chooses to participate in the container, a $400 fee is charged for shipment from Arly to LaCeiba. From LaCeiba and beyond a separate fee will be assessed payable to Sister Eleanor. (From LaCeiba to Limon, for example, is $165.) Lou Altman (laaltman@netscape.net) has a list of each team’s identifying color. Mass emails and the website will be used to disperse information such as the location of the new warehouse, specific packing instructions, etc.
